OOTD

I am wearing:
ASOS Top
H&M Leggings
River Island Booties
Michael Kors Watch
Topshop Eclipse Nail Polish
Rings (Random)

Only went into Uni today for a revision session on Biochemistry, which was really helpful. Then picked up some paper for my dissertation to be printed on. I was anxious all morning because my Mum had an interview at our local Police HQ for a job. They rang her a couple of hours later to let her know she's got it! Amazing news, I'm so happy for her. :D Finally something is going right for us this year.
On another note...
Today has been so sunny and hot I actually can't believe it!
Honestly, this British weather is so so random and needs to make its mind up.

I have nothing planned for the next few weeks apart form revision revision revision.
I have my finals and then I'm done! No more University, woohoo.
I can start the next chapter of my life :D

Topshop Eclipse Nail Polish

Topshop 'Eclipse' Nail Polish

My first Topshop nail polish and I'm absolutely loving it!
It has a nice big brush which makes application so quick and simple.
I applied 2 coats and they went on seamlessly.
The colour is gorgeous, not to mention it being an exact dupe for Chanel Peridot!
Definitely going to be investing more into these Topshop polishes!

Do you guys own any from Topshop? Which ones do you recommend?

Manchester Bits and Bobs

As I type this up I'm peering out the window. The rain  is just insane and far too torrential for my liking!
Here's an outfit I bought at the weekend. The top (which is actually a dress) and the skirt are both from Vera Moda. I love that shop far too much I wish there was one in Chester. The belt I thrifted for £3 in a charity shop in Wilmslow. I love the big bull buckle :).

LEVI 501

Urban Outfitters Vintage Levi 501 Shorts

I bought a pair of these not long back but like a fool got them in the complete the wrong size. So I sold those buggers on Ebay. I went in to UO at the weekend set on getting another pair. Once again after I tried on about 10 pairs these were the ones I chose. These fit me much better, tighter around the waist and arse. I'm thinking of getting some funky studs on the go, hmmm! Hopefully use Brits will get some good weather in the next coming weeks so I can actually get a chance to wear these bloomin' things!

Natural Collection: Peach Melba and Sweet Cheeks

Natural Collection: Peach Melba and Sweet Cheeks

There's so much hype about these little blushes from Natural Collection and when I was in Boots I thought why not try some. They are only £1.99 after all! I went for Sweet Cheeks and Peach Melba. The product itself is super soft and easily blended. It does take time to build the colour up but is totally worth it!

H&M mini haul

H&M Rings and Hair Cuff

If you don't already know I'm obsessed with rose gold. I was in Manchester at the weekend and popped into H&M. I saw this set of 4 rings for £2.99. There's a rose gold, yellow gold, silver and gunmetal ring. Fabulous for stacking!

I was completely gob smacked when I saw the rose gold hair cuff, I've been looking for the silver/yellow gold ones for a while but I assume they're completely sold out. However Manc's H&M had a load of these rose gold ones. Safe to say I nearly jumped on the display stand. Priced at £2.99 you really can't go wrong.

nothing better than a new razor

Gillette Venus Embrace

I had to picked this up since my last razor was literally falling to bits. Luckily Boots had it on offer for half price so it was about £4. I ran myself a nice hot bubbly bath after I took these pictures and hopped in to test it out. Its amazing! I'd forgotten how nice it was so have a new razor which was actually sharp and got rid of my hairy legs (TMI!). The moisture strip is a nice touch too. Brilliant! I'll never go back to bics. :]

Everyday Natural Makeup

I always like to keep things simple so I opt for a more natural look when it comes to makeup.
I start off with my foundation which is of course Mac Face and Body in C2. Next I normally do my brows and for this I use the Mac Spoolie, A la Carte Brow Ink in Sable and some Barry M Brow Gel. Then on to my eyes... Mac Brule all over the lid to even out the skin tone and then some L'oreal Telescopic Mascara.
Blush is Mac's Optimistic Orange and to match this I used the Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti.
So quick and easy and I'm good to go!

Here's my video on my current everyday makeup routine with a lot of chatter. Ooopsie. :)

Haul

I made the most of the 3 for 2 offer in Boots last week and picked up some things I have been wanting for a while. I'm not the kind of person to buy tons of make up. I'll only invest in something that I know I will use!

I've never used a cream eye shadow before but since I've heard so many good things about the Maybelline ones I decided to go ahead and get one. I used my Boots points to get the Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr in On and On Bronze. The colour is gorgeous and is so smooth. I was a bit sceptical to begin with since I have extremely hooded lids and I thought the colour would just not last. However this bad boy is one tough cookie. I first apply it all over and make sure I let it dry for a few minutes. Then it stays put throughout the day. You get loads of product too and for £4.99 you can't go wrong. My only gripe is that the other colours are a bit 'wishy washy', and the UK didn't get Pomegranate Punk which is so pretty :(. I just wish there were more neutrals, like Mac's Paint Pot in Bare Study and Painterly etc.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr in On and On Bronze

I completely ran out of mascara a couple of weeks back and was using a little sample size of a No7 one, which wasn't quite cutting it. There's so many mascaras out on the market now I just didn't know which one to choose. But I had heard so many good reviews on the L'oreal Telescopic False Lash Mascara. In all honesty I love this thing. The wand really separates and coats each lash. Perfect!

Next up is the infamous Revlon Lip Butters. Since my teeth are slowly getting straighter (thanks to Invisalign) I have decided to delve into the realm of lipsticks. After all the hype I knew I had to go on a swatching spree in Boots. The one I went to all the testers were unopened, fabulous! I only picked up two but I will definitely going back for more, plus I really want to try the L'oreal Caresse Sheer Lipsticks. Anyways the two lip butters I picked up were Tutti Frutti and Macaroon. One word: Love. They're amazing and so moisturising. If you have no yet tried these, please do!

Swatches!

Have you guys tried any of these products? Any shades that you would recommend?
